Hi, nice to meet you!
I'm a level designer working at Ubisoft Toronto. Previously I worked in indie as a level designer at Longbow Games on Golem. Before that I studied Honours Bachelor of Game Design at Sheridan College. Ever since I started game development, I've always worked on side projects and participated in game jams and hackathons, winning many competitions with my games. I have a passion for learning new things and sharing what I've learned in post-mortem style talks at events including EGLX, TorontoUXMeetup, and Bonus Stage as well as training juniors and interns at work.
I am thoughtful about the work I do, seek critical feedback throughout the process, and am open to change. I've worked with a variety of engines, tools, workflows and always seek information to understand the why's behind the processes. I think it's important to not just specialize in your role but to study and understand the roles of your coworkers and spend time to study topics that are adjacent to your specialization. For example, I enjoy studying nature and architecture in my personal life to draw connections to level design.
